1.  The Gospel Must Be Heard

• Romans 10:17 - So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
• John 8:32 - And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 

2.  The Gospel Must Be Believed

• John 8:24 - I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins; for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
• Mark 16:16 - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

3.  Sins Must Be Repented Of

•  Luke 13:3 & 5 - I tell you, Nay; but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

4.  Christ Must Be Confessed

• Matthew 10:32-33 - Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.  But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
• Romans 10:10 - For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

5.  There Must Be Baptism (Immersion) for the Remission Of Sins

·        Acts 2:38 – Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

·        1 Peter 3:21 – The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

6.  There Must Be Christian Growth and Faithfulness

·        1 Peter 2:2 – As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

·        2 Peter 3:18 – But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  To him be glory both now and for ever.  Amen.

·        Revelation 2:10 – Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer; behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
